This is a legendary release from Zess' rehearsals and demos from 1987 to 1988. In 1988 the band dis banned. After all these years, the vocalist of Zess (now with Malombra) took these recordings to Black Widow records and after a light remastering, "Et In Arcadia Ego" released. A classic example of Obsure Old school Italian Doom Metal.
Knock Yourself Out
A very good album, that makes remember the listener the typical doom-rock-metal sound of the late eighties. Sometimes Zess' music seems Death SS or Paul Chain's one. I'm a fourty years old italian guitarist, so I know the way we played this kind of music in those years.
